Hills Radio will happily attend community events for not-for-profit organisations and local businesses to provide an outside broadcast service from BOBB, our Big Outside Broadcast Bus.
Our outside broadcast team will promote the event throughout the day, interview organisers, participants and attendees and play music.
BOBB needs a space of 7 x 3 metres plus 3 x 3 metres for our marquee. We require power connection but if this is not possible we are equipped with a petrol powered generator.
We prefer not to be placed near a public address system, performing musicians or other high decibel activities to avoid conflicting with each other.
Our members will be volunteering their time to manage the outside broadcast so free entry for them to the event is always appreciated.
Please provide as much notice as possible because BOBB is in high demand, especially in the warmer weather.
There is no charge for our attendance at your community event but any donation you would like to make toward BOBB’s running costs is most welcome. (The average donation is $100). Businesses wishing BOBB to attend their event are advised to contact the station on 8391 3885 or firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss the attendance donation.
